On average, we recommend: Sheets - every 7-14 days Pillowcases - every 7-14 days Duvet covers - every 3-4 weeks Blankets - every 6-8 months (wash or dry clean) Pillows - every 12-18 months (dry clean) These timeframes are approximate: if you sweat a lot, are sick, or sleep with pets, you should wash them more often. Tip 2: Choose the correct washing temperature The fabric's cleanliness and durability depend on temperature. Cotton - tolerates high temperatures well. 60-90°C is optimal for removing dirt and bacteria. Linen - similar to cotton, can withstand hot washing (60-90°C). Synthetics - are sensitive to heat and may shrink. 30-60°C or cold water is best. Wool - requires delicate care. Wash at 30°C or in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tip 3: Use the right amount of detergent Overdosing on detergent won't make your laundry cleaner; in fact, it can cause skin irritation due to residue. Dosage depends on load size, water hardness, and detergent type. It's best to follow the manufacturer's recommendations and adjust the amount as needed.
