Akwa Ibom Governor Eno Names Acting First Lady

Governor Umo Eno has designated his daughter, Mrs. Helen Eno Obareki, as the acting First Lady of Akwa Ibom State. This follows the passing of his esteemed late wife, Pastor Patience Umo Eno, a woman who left an indelible mark on the state. On Friday, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Nigeria's First Lady, led a united delegation of distinguished individuals, including Hajia Nana Shettima, the Vice President's wife, and the wives of state governors and presiding officers of the National Assembly. The delegation's objective was to extend condolences to Governor Eno, showing a strong bond of support. Senator Tinubu commended Governor Eno's decision, observing that it aligns with practices followed in the United States and represents a prudent approach to perpetuating the legacy of the late Patience Eno.
